Want to feel healthier and happier? If you’ve been meaning to dust off your trainers for a while but not quite found the time or money we have a ‘try before you buy’ option this month. We wanted to remove as many barriers as possible to getting you out on the glorious Wanstead Flats this month.

Our focus is on getting people fit, in a friendly and supportive environment. Our professional PTs want you to come away smiling and with a ‘can do’ attitude. The sessions are mixed ability; beginners or returners to exercise are very much welcome and catered for.

We are a not-for-profit collective and so rely on volunteers for our day-to-day running. This allows us to keep the costs down and make regular exercise an affordable part of your weekly routine. It’s a great way to get connected with your local community too. We hold regular socials – big shout out to delicious Brunch at Tracks!

Aislinn helps to run the collective and says:

“Thinking about it, I have been attending WFF for seven years! It’s a lovely bunch of people of all ages and abilities which has kept me going. I normally hate the cold, but exercising outdoors has been the best thing for my mental as well as physical health. Natural buzz!”

WFF tips for planning your exercise come-back:

- Visualise yourself exercising and remember how good you feel afterwards

- Schedule exercise in groups to boost commitment and motivation

- Set some goals

- Start small and build gradually

- Reward yourself when you hit your targets (brunch!)

You can come to unlimited sessions for the whole of January with no fees or contracts to sign. Better still, if you sign-up at the end of January, there is a reduced membership available. Drop us a line on wansteadflatsfitness@gmail.com if you’d like to sign-up for the January special.
