Having been set up with a grant from Newham's Community Assemblies, the market's aim is to support smaller local creative independent businesses who don't have premises or necessarily do markets and have the gazebos and tables themselves.

The aim is to create an interesting mix of stalls with things to buy, eat and drink, whilst also getting together and meeting your neighbours too.

With a main focus on artists and makers, we've got a great range this weekend with watercolours, art prints, personalised calligraphy, candles, tote bags and more.

We've also got some unique children's clothing made locally and women's accessories and jewellery. Then we have some vintage homewares, record shop and ceramics too.

On the food side we've got Casual Rice, with Asian baked treats, Date Sultan with his stuffed artisanal dates and speciality coffee pop up Manor Coffee - back with a range of hot and iced drinks. We've also got an ice cream stand with fresh fruit ice creams.

Our backgrounds are working in interior design and hospitality so we're definitely looking at how the market can activate a part of the street which doesn't normally have much going on as well as bringing people together on the day and promoting our boroughs' creative talents.

Also my partner Harrison works for a specialty coffee roaster and will have Manor Coffee beans for home use too.

So shop local and support small!
