I moved to Manor Park in 2011 from Italy. Life is very different in the UK but I have loved it from the word go!

I love living near the flats with all the open space and nature and have found a very supportive community. It’s a great place to raise a family.

When I arrived in London I worked in catering for many years. Then the pandemic struck and I was furloughed and eventually made redundant. It was a real reset moment for me and I had the chance to think about what I wanted to do in the future.

I have always been passionate about sport, having had a career as both an athlete and a coach in handball in Italy. Following an injury I had to give this up but I remained interested in this field.

I took the plunge and studied Soft Tissue Therapy and sports massage at the London School of Massage and qualified in October last year.

My friends and neighbours were fantastic in helping me while I qualified by being case studies and providing feedback.

Since then I have been working both as a freelancer and through Urban. I normally see clients in the comfort of their own home and provide a variety of massages.

Massage therapy involves using different pressures, movements and techniques to manipulate muscles and other soft tissues in the body. With a goal of slowing down your nervous system, massage therapy can be used to release stress and tension, provide relief from symptoms, heal injuries and support wellness.
